- I used to be a teacher of English, believe it or not and I used to love literature. My eyes are getting worse so I now watch a lot of DVDs.
I used to be a teacher librarian too and I adore the Dewey Decimal System and Subject Headings. I've got a few degrees and post graduate ones also. So you think I'm nuts? You're right. I suffer from panic disorder.
I have a son who is now 24 and studying to be a teacher. He's in his last year. I love listening to his experiences as a practising teacher. I have a dog and a long time partner, not necessarily in that order.

Fabulous autumn days
Autumn is my favourite month. I miss the smell of burning leaves now though. Of course we can no longer do this greenhouse emission activity anymore.
Today I sat out on my new deck, watching more workers. This time they are removing all the rubbish from the making of the deck. Found a beaut bit of solid wood which came from under the old verandah. Previous owner had just piled junk under there.
